Take care the weather is quite tricky this season. Stay well, stay safe.
Today, I share with you my today’s toast recipe, it’s simple and utterly protein rich and quick.

Step 1. Take half bowl of split chickpeas these are quite affordable than garbanzo chickpeas.

Step 2. Wash it.

Step 3. Boil it till soft, 3 cooker whistles would do the work if you add salt while boiling.

Step 4. Sieve extra water. Make sure you don’t add much water to be wasted or dry the water by cooking few more minutes.

Step 5. Put it in a bowl.

Step 6. Chop one small onion, 3 cloves of garlic and one green chilli.

Step 7. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and add black pepper for simmering.

Step 8. Now add onion and garlic in frying pan.

Step 9. Fry it till onion turns golden.

Step 10. Add boiled chickpeas in frying pan.

Step 11. Add one teaspoon of Spanish paprika to it now. Add one teaspoon salt and green chili as well. Mix well, close the gas lid.

Step 12. Take a bread toast it, or heat it in flame as I did as I don’t have toaster. This is needed so that bread remains crunchy.

Step 13. Apply cheese spread on bread.

Step 14. Arrange the chickpeas on bread now.

Step 15. Heat it in microwave for 10 seconds for cheese to melt.
It’s ready, apply red sauce on top of it. And time to serve it.
