Onion Coriander Salted Summer Drink (Chaach with onion)

How is summers treating you in northern hemisphere? And how are winters in Australia and Southern regions?

It’s hot here in Delhi.

I couldn’t post anything since few weeks I was bit busy with my root canal with dentist. But that didn’t means I didn’t cooked or made summer coolers. I did but just that I couldn’t post them.

So I hope you are well. To the summer folks make this summer drink in 5 minutes. It’s tasty and very refreshing. It has onion, salts and green coriander, green chilli. Raw onion is very good for summers. I was once told by a laborer that he eats raw onion to beat summer heat. Try it onion in curd you shall yourself feel very fresh.

Here is the 5 minutes recipe for one. Increase in appropriate proportions.

Step 1. Take half medium sized onion.

Step 2. Cut this onion in small parts.

Step 3. Add some mint leaves and add cut onion in mixture grinder. Mince it for few seconds.

Step 4. Cut leaves of a strand of coriander leaves.

Step 5. Cut half green chilli.

Step 6. Add two spoonfuls of curd in mixture grinder as above.

Step 7. Add half cup of water. Add one teaspoon of black salt and one teaspoon of roasted cumin powder.

Step 8. Add fresh coriander leaves cut as above.

Step 9. Mix in mixture grinder for few seconds.

And the drink is ready. Pour it in glass, add ice if needed. Sprinkle some cut green coriander leaves on top of drink.

Enjoy the drink.
