Curry leaves flavoured Orangish Rice

Greetings everyone,

How are you doing? Weather is changing its colours so I decided to change some colours of my recipe too. Today I here present you my recipe of rice which is curry leaves flavoured and orangish in colour with natural ingredients.

I added turmeric and Spanish paprika to get this color and taste in my rice.

It doesn’t just look nice it taste great too. All in 10 minutes of time. What are you waiting for?

Here are quick steps of recipe for one. Scale in appropriate proportions for more.

Step 1. Take 3/4 th cup of raw rice.

Step 2. Wash rice well in a bigger bowl.

Step 3. Take a branch of fresh curry leaves. Wash it.

Step 4. Chop curry leaves in small pieces.

Step 5. Take 1.5 serving spoon of vegetable oil in a pressure cooker. Heat the oil.

Step 6. Here are spices to give this taste and colour. Ready them.

Step 7. Once the oil is heated add curry leaves to oil. Immediately add washed rice to cooker and mix well.

Step 8. Now add spices, one teaspoon of turmeric powder, one teaspoon of Spanish paprika, salt to taste.

Step 9. Mix well add 1.25 cup of water in pressure cooker and give it two whistles.

Step 10. Once the pressure of cooker disappears on its own, open the pressure cooker.

Time to serve hot.
