Today I am here to share with you a delicious snacks recipe of potato cutlets which would take around 30 minutes time to make and is really mouth watering.
Here is recipe for two.
Ingredients: 2 potatoes, handful of split chickpeas lentils, one medium sized onion, salt, red chili flakes, butter or clarified butter, or cooking oil, whatever is available, I used clarified butter for best taste, one bowl of cold curd, one bowl of tomato sauce such as Maggie Tomato Sauce and some green/red chili sauce.
Recipe
Step 1. Take 2 medium sized potatoes.

Step 2. Wash the potatoes and cut into 2 parts, wash the split chickpeas lentils as well.

Step 3. Put these things into water in a pressure cooker. Give two whistles of cooker. Try to give another whistle in cooker but close the gas heat just before the third whistle. Let the gas in cooker come out naturally. It may take 10-15 minutes more time, but this would guarantee that the split chickpeas lentils are soft enough to be deliciously consumed.
Take out potatoes and use a sieve to take out chickpeas lentils.

Step 4. Peel off the potatoes.

Step 5. Start smashing the potatoes in plate, it may be hot so use spatula to smash it.

Step 6. Add more force and smash the chickpeas lentils and potatoes, use hands if needed.

Step 7. Add salt as per taste and red chili flakes now and mix it well. Mince one onion and add it to the mixture.

Step 8. Make 2 cutlets with hands with this mashup. Put one spoon of clarified butter on a frying pan, let it heat up. In winters clarified butter is thick, so give it a heat, Then put in the cutlet so made on the pan. Let it cook and then flip side. Heat it on medium to low flame to be cooked from inside.

Step 9. After few minutes you can see golden shade on the cutlet. Take it off on a plate.

Step 10. Do the same to the other cutlet. Now the time to decorate it with today’s taste buds.

Step 11. Take red potato sauce, I used Maggi Tomato Sauce and cover the cutlet so made with a layer of red sauce you have.

Step 12. Now cover the red sauce with a layer of cold curd. Sprinkle on top of curd some green chili sauce, you can use red chili sauce as well in place of green chili sauce.

It’s ready, have it streaming hot!
