Rice and Kidney Beans Quick and Delicious in 10 minutes

Hope you are doing great. It is Sunday, I wanted something special, yummy, hot and fast without spending lot of time in kitchen. You know Sunday mood in the valentines week.

Here is a recipe for one. If you have boiled beans beforehand then it’s even more quicker. And I keep steamed rice in fridge so, it took me just 5 minutes to make this utter delicacy and I loved it, I think you would like it as well. Just have it hot, put it in microwave for 10 seconds or so again if it looses the warmth.

Also, you can have it without cheese as well, I am a cheese lover, so I loved it with cheese. Choose your ingredients !

Below is the detailed recipe for one, increase the ingredients in same ratio for two and more.

Ingredients: One bowl of boiled kidney beans, half bowl of boiled rice, oregano, salt, red chilli, cheese. That is all!

Step 1. One bowl of kidney beans, it can be boiled beans from market or you can boil it at home. If you are boiling it at home, take kidney beans with some salt and give it heat in a cooker on slow gas it may take one hour, so better if you soak it overnight in warm salted water. While kidney beans are boiling you don’t need to be in kitchen. So I am not counting this time.

Step 2. Take half bowl of boiled rice. I had boiled rice pre-cooked with me. So, nothing to do here. You can boil fresh, as much as needed to serve. It takes around 10 minutes to boil rice.

Step 3. Take a mixing bowl and empty kidney beans and rice in bowl.

Step 4. Sprinkle full spoon of oregano in bowl, half tea spoon of salt, and red chilli. You should use these ingredients as per taste.

Step 5. Additionally add cheese on top of this. I had cheese slices so I crumbled two cheese slice. But you should try grated mozzarella cheese here, it’s not in my stock as of now. So, choose your cheese.

Step 6. Mix the ingredients well in this mixing bowl.

Step 7. Put these contents on a microwave safe plate or a microwave safe bowl. Heat it in microwave for 50 seconds.

Step 8. Take it out on serving plate. Time to have the meal, eat it hot for the best taste.
