It’s Quick and Tasty- In 5 steps Only. Try this recipe!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are doing well. Here is a recipe for one here. This does not need much time, once boiled things are ready. Also, the boiled food can be used in evening as well.

So get ready to eat Chickpeas (Garbanzo) with rice. It tastes best when steaming hot.

Recipe for one

Ingredients: Garbanzo (Chickpeas), rice, salt, red chilli, oregano, grated cheese. That is it!

For serving 2 double the amount.

Step 1. Take one bowl of already steamed rice. The rice can be cooked in a pan previously, excess water can be removed, you don’t need to be in kitchen all time while rice cooks in water, no oil is added here.

Step 2. Take one bowl of already boiled garbanzo (chickpeas). Boiling garbanzo (chickpeas) is not easy. Here are the steps: one night before, dip chickpeas (garbanzo) in water. Or if you missed out overnight dip, you can do it in the day – dip it for 8 to 10 hours. After that heat it in pressure cooker for 3-4 whistles. See if it is soft and boil more if you want it to be more soft. Take one bowl out of it, rest can be refrigerated to be used in evening.

Step 3. Add both these bowls, rice and garbanzo (chickpeas) in a bowl to mix it well. Then add grated cheese in this mixing bowl. Add salt, half teaspoon or as per taste, red chilli and oregano also as per taste.

Mix well!

Step 5. Take it out on a microwave safe plate or microwave safe bowl.

Step 6. Heat it till cheese starts to melt. It’s ready to serve now.

Best taste when hot.

Have a nice meal!
