Hope you are doing well during this time of the year. Here, is a short recipe of Pizza with base made of spiced potatoes.
Here are the steps and a recipe for two.
Ingredients: 2 potatoes, vegies for toppings such as capsicum, tomato and onion, Mozzarella cheese, pizza seasoning with oregano and red chili flakes.
Step 1. Take 2 potatoes.
Step 2. Wash the potatoes.
Step 3. Put the potatoes on boil in cooker. Fill in water to make the potatoes dip fully in water. Cut the potatoes before dipping it in water for faster boil. Give it one whistle of cooker and let the stream go out on its own. You can choose other ways of boiling the potatoes as well.
Step 4. Once potatoes are boiled peel them and mash them.
Step 5. Take 2 serving spoon of cooking oil of your choice and heat it.
Step 6. Once oil is heated put black pepper in it for simmering. Then add mashed potatoes into it.
Step 7. Keep moving the potatoes in frying pan, and add salt and red chili to it. (quantities as per taste)
Step 8. Once heated and mixed well, the potatoes would start to change color and sticking to pan. Close the heat of gas then.
Step 9. Take a microwave safe plate and spread it on plate as a uniform shape of your liking. I choose it to be a circle. Make it uniform and you can use a steel spatula for doing this.
Step 10. Add Mozzarella cheese on top of it, you can optionally add a layer of red sauce on this.
Step 11. Cut small vegetables such as half capsicum, half tomato, half onion, I choose this you may also add olives, jalapeños.
Step 12. Add a layer of toppings of the chopped vegetables on potato base so made above.
Step 13. Now cover the vegetable dressing with more Mozzarella cheese.
Step 14. Heat this now till cheese melt. I used microwave to do so.
Step 15. Add seasoning with salted oregano on top of this and then add red chili flakes.
It’s ready to be served hot, vegi fun, delicious! Try it!
