Yellow Lentil based sandwich

Ingredients: Yellow lentil, onion, Mayo sauce, egg, butter, spices, breads.

Step 1. Take a handful of yellow lentil also called bengal gram or Chana dal.

Step 2. Wash it and put in in cooker to boil on lowest flame. It would soften in 10 minutes or so. Put adequate water in cooker, so that it can boil. Add half spoon of salt and half spoon of ghee in cooker for quicker boil.

Step 3. After 10 minutes, heat two spoon of butter. Once heated add black pepper for simmering.

Step 4. Add the boiled yellow lentil in this ban. Heat on normal heat to dry out water left out from cooker. This is best way to not throw away water.

Step 5. once water dries out, add salt, red chili as per taste.

Step 6. Take two breads, and spread the mixture on bread evenly, with a spatula.

Step 7. Put some onion on breads.

Step 8. Make an omelette from one egg now.

Step 9. Now put omelette breads on put some Mayo sauce on it. Now, cover the omelette by other bread spread on its top.

Step 10. cut diagonally and it’s hot and ready to serve.
