Ginger-Garlic flavored Eggs with Onion Rice

Here is recipe for ginger-garlic flavored eggs with onion rice. Try it, it should be a nice change from usual meals.

Here is the recipe for one.

Ingredients: 2 eggs, 2 medium sized onions, a cube of ginger, some cloves of garlic 6, black pepper, salt, cooking oil, half bowl of raw rice.

Here are the steps.

Step 1. Take half bowl of rice, wash it, and boil it. You can boil in open vessel or like me you can boil it in pressure cooker with equal amount of water and one whistle, don’t open the lid till all vapors are out of the cooker.

Step 2. Take other raw materials, a cube of garlic, 6 cloves of garlic, a spoon of black pepper and a tea spoon of salt. You can increase salt to your taste. Also 2 medium sized onions.

Step 3. Add ginger and garlic in a small mixture grinder and add few drops of water in it, make a paste out of it.

Step 4. Add two pinch of garlic and two pinch of salt in this paste. Mix well.

Step 5. Boil two eggs and peel them. Cut the two eggs horizontally making sure not to cut it fully, but just to make a pocket into which we can put in the ginger garlic paste.

Step 6. Fill in the ginger garlic paste in this pocket in the egg. Make sure you don’t take out the York. It was just a cut not a full half cut, just a pocket in egg. Keep the eggs aside now.

Step 7. Take one serving spoon of cooking oil in a frying pan. Heat it.

Step 8. Add half a spoon of black pepper in the frying pan now.

Step 9. Add 2 onions cut vertically into the frying pan now.

Step 10. Keep mixing the onions with oil on medium heat.

Step 11. Now as the color of onion changes stop the heat, close the lid of gas. Add one full bowl of rice in frying pan now. Mix well.

Step 12. Mix boiled rice with onions in the frying pan. Add remaining ginger garlic paste in the frying pan and mix it with rice. Add salt as per taste, I added half tea spoon of salt.

Step 13. Add half the onion rice on plate and then add the ginger garlic flavored eggs on plate and cover the rest of the rice on the eggs. Make the eggs visible now, so that it looks as if eggs are deep in the cooked rice.

Step 14. It’s ready to serve. It’s hot and delicious.
