Cottage cheese Samosa (Paneer Samosa)

Today I am sharing with you my recipe of cottage cheese Samosa, it can also be called Paneer Samosa.

Samosa is a famous Indian all time favourite snack. I however don’t take typical Samosa as it is very heavy filled with potatoes, so I made a protein rich version of samosa called cottage cheese Samosa. It does not mean I don’t like potato samosa, that’s good too but I am on a specific diet to avoid potatoes as much as I can.

Here is the recipe of my cottage cheese Samosa.

Step 1. Take two bowl of refined flour. Add one spoon of Spanish paprika, salt and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Step 2. Make a dough while kneading add some more vegetable oil.

Step 3. Divide the dough in four parts.

Step 4. Take one part and roll a circle on a roller. Cut it in half.

Step 5. Take one part and make a triangle from it as shown below.

Step 6. Take fresh cottage cheese. One slice one inch thick.

Step 7. Add Spanish paprika, black pepper and salt. Knead cottage cheese in a mixture form.

Step 8. Fill in the triangle bread we made above with cottage cheese mixture we made here.

Step 9. Close the open side of samosa with some water and pressure.

Step 10. Time to fry. Heat vegetable oil for deep fry.

Step 11. Flip the sides and fry well.

It’s ready to have.
