I wish you happy thanksgiving from depths of my heart.
There were guests at home and I wanted to cook something good and something fast.
So, I called in for basa fish fry. It needs 1 kg bass fish. This amounts to two full basa frozen fish. It can cost something like 9AUD.
The trick of frozen fish is described here. Frozen fish don’t get their taste in one go. Frozen fish like bass have 30-40% ice. It leaves lot of water in frying pan, so how did I do it. Read here.

Here is recipe for 5.
Step 1. Keep basa fish in water with salt for half hour. Then the fish would be mildly soft, cut 4 parts each.

Step 2. Time to marinate, sprinkle Spanish paprika, black pepper and salt on it. Rube it on both sides of cut fish.

Step 3. Take one lemon and sprinkle it on fish. It takes away fish pungent smell. Let it stay like this till you are 10 minutes away from serving freshly made starters.

Step 4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan.

Step 5. Add four fish pieces in frying pan now.

Step 6. It would leave water in frying pan. Do it for remaining 4 fish pieces as well. Flip sides often, it should not turn brown.

Step 7. Take it off the pan in 5 minutes heating time. Cover the hot wet fish with refined flour on both sides. Time for another deep fry in new oil.

Step 8. Heat till it turns golden on both sides in new oil, old oil is watery and can no longer fry your fish, heating 2 minutes each side.

Step 9. Lay it on serving plate.
