Cummin Black Pepper Rice

Greetings everyone,

How are you doing?

Happy Sunday. I was in Sunday mood and cooked my favorite kind of rice. When I was in school a classmate used to bring turmeric rice just plain nothing else but turmeric. I don’t like adding turmeric much. So I added cumin and black pepper.

It’s simple, try it, it’s tasty and quick to make on a lazy day like Sunday.

Recipe for one.

Step 1. Take one cup of dry rice.

Step 2. Was rice till it’s clean to see through water.

Step 3. Heat 1.5 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pressure cooker. Heat the oil to give cumins the flavor we want.

Step 4. Add one tablespoon of cumin and add it to hot oil in cooker. Make sure it does not burn. So close gas lid till you are ready with all things you want to add.

Step 5. Here cumin in pressure cooker.

Step 6. Now add washed rice in cooker, mix well, add one teaspoon of black pepper and add one teaspoon of salt.

Step 7. Add equal amount of water as is rice, one cup rice means one cup water.

Step 8. After closing lid of gas stove let pressure reduce on its own. Open cooker once no pressure in cooker. It’s ready to eat.

Time to serve. Have it hot it is delicious. I like the flavor of oil in it.
