Onion Garlic Fish – Quick Nice Recipe

How are you doing? I here share with you my recipe of Onion Garlic Fish.

Quick Recipe.

Ingredients: Basa fish fillets, onion, garlic, cooking oil, salt, black pepper, tomato, half lemon. That’s it.

Steps here

Step 1. Take frozen fish/ fresh fish. In case of frozen fish keep it at room temperature or a quick microwave for 50 seconds to warm it. Clean well the fish then with cold fresh clean water.

Step 2. Marinate the fish with lemon and salt, I used pink Himalayan salt, you can use rock salt or other salt as per your taste.

Step 3. Or this big half lemon well on both sides of bass fish fillets, apply salt on both sides on bass fish fillets. Leave it in plate while you cut onions and garlic.

Step 4. Take one onion and garlic strands.

Step 5. Cut onion roughly.

Step 6. Cut finely 6 garlic cloves on a wooden chopping board.

Step 7. Heat oil in non stick frying pan, I used 4 spoon of smoked mustard oil, you may use any other nice cooking oil or clarified butter or butter as per suitability and possibility of use.

Step 8. Cut the fish fillets in 4 parts.

Step 9. Once oil is ready to be cooked, note mustard oil can’t be used directly for cooking unless smoked well.

Step 10. Keep flipping sides regularly so that it does not stick to the pan. Apply black pepper and salt (I used pink salt here) please use normal salt if pink/rock salt not available. Add as per taste. Flip sides and apply black pepper on other side as well.

Step 11. While the fish cooks on one frying pan. Take another frying pan add 2 and a half spoon of cooking oil in this frying pan. I used smoked mustard oil. Keep flipping sides of fish in the mean while on other frying pan.

Step 12. Immediately add cut garlic in the second frying pan with onions. Mix well.

Step 13. Take preserved Italian diced tomatoes paste.

Step 14. Once the onions turn golden in other pan add 2 spoon of diced Italian tomatoes in the second frying pan. Mix well.

Step 15. Mix well till tomatoes cook well. Add salt and black pepper now, use your preferred salt and black pepper to taste.

Step 16. See below the tomatoes are well cooked now.

Step 17. By now keep flipping sides of fish on the first frying pan. It’s like this by now at same time.

Step 18. Other side of fish as follows. Fish is well cooked and ready now.

Step 19. Empty the contents of second frying pan with onions and tomatoes on a plate now.

Step 20. Take fish out of first frying pan into plate now. I choose to cut the cooked fish to decorate it as a star shaped fish platter.
